with these pretensions i breathe
with these frustrations i live
with so much pain i wonder
with so much anger i remember
discontentment in the box i release
in the silence i scream my pleas
when what was sought is never found
in this hatred i shall be forever bound
those who will hear will surely judge
for on the surface it is a grudge
but does it matter what others believe
when what they see is not what Thy perceive
defiance is only superficial
for what is inside is the most essential
when faith alone is never intact
for with deeds the greater the impact
